I love the feeling of the tactile keys which I like so much more than the linear keys I have used previously. The layout and size is great too. My typing has definitely improved on this compared to my previous keyboard. It has retractable feet to change the elevation giving you 3 different ways to position the keyboard to suit your needs. The ability to swap between connectivity modes is great. When I was looking at mechanical keyboards this was the cheapest wireless option with UK-ISO. You can charge the keyboard whilst using either of the wireless modes using external power rather than the internal battery to do this. I was worried about the case being plastic, however I don't have complaints at this time and the texture matches the keycaps nicely. The **** is nice and controls volume by default but pressing it switches it to rgb brightness control. Unfortunaely the leds have fixed brightnesses and it would have been cool to have more brightness settings or make the press control muting. The **** does not rotately smoothly so you can't spin it to whack the volume up or down rapidly.

I've seen mixed reviews on the battery life but if you plan on running this without the rgb/backlighting and remember to turn the keyboard off between uses then it should last a reasonable amount of time (perhaps weeks?). Reading other reviews online however suggests that the lighting will drain the battery fast and the advertised 1 week battery life is probably not achievable with everyday use particularly if you need it for work. One thing I noticed whilst comparing keyboards is that the DIY kit comes with a larger battery but will set you back ~£20 more with enough switches and cheap keycaps. The rgb is nice to have but the keys are not shine through. One thing to note though is that the switches have a coloured transparent housing which for me means that white lighting is actually faintly blue which means it does not match the side lights. The side lighting also bleeds into the keyboard itself.

The keycaps are generally nice however there is inconsitent legend quality with some keycaps having thinner icons (particularly 9, 10, F9, F10) compared to the majority. The quality of the additional black keycaps at least for me is mixed with visible imperfections on multiple keys particu larly the backspace and spacebar. Whilst their inclusion is appreciated it is disappointing that the ones I want to use are like this. I hope with time they become less obvious. From what I have seen online, it is also a bit disappointing that in order to get inside the keyboard you'd have to pry the case open with no easy to access screws. Whilst I don't plan on modding the keyboard, if something were to break out of warranty I could see this as a problem for those looking for an easy repair.

Overall I'm really happy with the keyboard, despite my misgivings about the keycaps and future repairability a lot of that is countered by the fact that you could just get new keycaps further down the line and that the switches are hot swappable. It's compact enough and comfortable to type on and game as well if you want. It comes in ISO which is a major plus for me and works without needing the additional software. Would recommend to others looking to explore custom keyboards for less than £100 particularly if you get it with a discount. Those looking for a slightly bigger battery I'd suggest looking at the barebones version or looking for other options.

Lovely keyboard, works nicely. The membrane is a bit soft, so you can see the keyboard base move a bit inside. But I'm getting used to it.

Shame the software for changing keybinds is windows only app and not in browser like most keyboards, as for Linux users I had to edit all this on a windows box.

Keyboard feels nice, I wanted some brown like switches so ordered the creamy purples. But they aren't very much like browns at all. But still nice to use for gaming. But it's been a nice base for the LOTR keycap set I am using it on.

i was very sceptical before buying this keyboard but after getting it surprisingly fast i was very happy, sounded great out of the box and grated a great typing experience. I did a few small mods to it and was very happy to find out its quite easy to open allowing a smooth modding experience, overall amazing keyboard for the price and i will 100% recommend AKKO to friends and family!!

Great for the price, would be better with south facing Keycaps out of the box to get a better idea of the capability. Battery life is awful with the lights on.

A very good keyboard for the price i took it for (80€) . Amazing sound and so many extras in the keyboard. But the keyboard itself has very poor rgb lights the sides are much better than the pcb light. And i also think you can improve more your software abilities. Overall great keyboard! Highly suggest

I like this keyboard. It sounds nice, it feels nice, it looks very nice. The customer service people are a gem too :)

Keyboard and package is great, love the fact that u get alot of extra keys and all the necessary tools. But i will admit it obviously took a while to arrive, understandebly so, considering it came all the way from China and getting it through the airport can take a while. But quality and sound of the keyboard is S tier+

Just received my keyboard from AKKO. Delivery was quick and the quality is as expected.

the switches sound weird after 1 week and the stabilizers are not that good but i like the software and the white look.

Good keyboard, good switch feeling and sound. The only thing I‘m a little overwhealmed with are the spare keys in a different colorway. (where to put some of them)
