What’s New in the 5098 V5 Upgrade?
The 5098 V5 offers a 2.2-inch LCD screen, slim gasket design with soft, responsive typing and 8,000mAh battery for long-lasting wireless use. Precision, comfort, and speed in one keyboard.
The multi-device switch and USB-C port are seamlessly integrated into the keyboard’s side for easy access and a cleaner look. Quickly toggle between Mac, Windows, USB, 2.4G, and Bluetooth.
A one-piece silicone pad provides full-area cushioning for a more consistent typing feel and improved acoustic uniformity.
Introduces silicone Pillars that connect internal components, adding flexible support and structural stability while enhancing vibration control and overall typing feedback.
The V5 adopts a cleaner, more timeless look by removing the side RGB light strips found on the V3. With fewer visual distractions, the keyboard’s craftsmanship and design details take center stage.

ARGB Backlight
Featuring ARGB (addressable RGB) with individually controlled LEDs for smooth, flicker-free lighting. With Alpha channel integration and a 500Hz refresh rate, it offers richer dynamic effects and reduces visual fatigue—perfect for gaming and aesthetic builds.
Pro Gaming Features
Snap Key
Snap Key is Akko’s implementation of SOCD, which prioritizes the most recent keypress for swift directional changes without releasing previous inputs. This ensures fluid and responsive control, especially in FPS games, where quick reactions and precise movements are crucial.
Mod Tap
Mod Tap is a design that provides convenience for gaming. It enables the creation of dedicated or dual-functional keys based on key press behavior.
A single keypress can achieve two functions: holding down the key for one function, and press the key for another.
N-Key Rollover
Achieve precision and responsiveness with N-key rollover, ensuring that every keypress is registered accurately, no matter how many keys you press simultaneously. This advanced feature prevents key ghosting, allowing you to execute complex commands and combos without missing a beat.
