I had to replace my previous keyboard (the Goudetama one, also by Akko) because I no longer had enough space on my desk. I decided to buy the barebone MonsGeek M1W V3 SP so I could reuse my cute keycaps. They all fit perfectly, except for the right shift key, which was a bit too long. But that wasn’t an issue—I just used another keycap.
The sound quality is excellent, and it's much quieter compared to the Goudetama keyboard.
I’d also like to give 5 stars to the customer service! The keyboard arrived with a few broken keys, but they offered me several solutions to troubleshoot the issue. It turned out the problem was with the PCB, and they sent me a replacement right away! Fast response and super friendly staff!
Als ich das erste Mal die MonsGeek M1W V3 SP ausgepackt und auf meinen Schreibtisch gestellt habe, war ich sofort beeindruckt. Das Gewicht und die stabile Verarbeitung fühlen sich wertig an – man merkt, dass hier auf Qualität gesetzt wurde. Sobald die Finger über die Tasten gleiten, fällt direkt das weiche Tippgefühl auf. Es ist, als ob man auf einer Wolke tippen würde, kein nerviges Klappern, sondern ein gedämpfter, sanfter Sound, der richtig angenehm in den Ohren liegt. Das Gefühl beim Drücken jeder Taste ist unglaublich befriedigend, wie wenn man eine perfekt eingestellte Maschine bedient.
Visuell ist die Tastatur ein absoluter Hingucker. Die Beschriftungen der Tasten klar und gut lesbar und die Beleuchtung sieht super aus. Diese Farbverläufe ziehen sofort alle Blicke auf sich.
Der Drehknopf in der Ecke ist sehr praktisch. So kann ich jederzeit die Lautstärke steuern und er fühlt sich auch sehr gut an – schön stabil und mit einem leichten Widerstand, wenn man ihn dreht.
Was mir besonders gut gefällt, ist das Tippgeräusch. Man hört kein lautes Klicken, sondern eher ein sanftes „Thock“, alles wirkt sehr hochwertig. Perfekt, wenn man sich in die Arbeit vertiefen oder in ein Spiel eintauchen möchte.
Und dann ist da noch die Möglichkeit, kabellos zu arbeiten, ohne dabei auf die schnelle Reaktionszeit verzichten zu müssen. Der Wechsel zwischen den Modi klappt reibungslos und passt sich genau meinen Bedürfnissen an, egal ob ich am Schreibtisch sitze oder mal auf der Couch arbeiten möchte.
Insgesamt fühlt sich die MonsGeek M1W V3 SP wie eine kleine Revolution an. Alles ist durchdacht, von der geschmeidigen Haptik bis hin zu den beeindruckenden Lichteffekten. Wenn man einmal mit dieser Tastatur gearbeitet hat, will man nichts anderes mehr – sie vereint Stil, Komfort und Leistung auf eine Weise, die einfach Spaß macht.

I would definitely give five stars if there was a way to turn off the red LED under the spacebar. Apparently it is a battery level indicator, but there seems to be no way to turn it off apart from disconnecting the battery. Besides this, the keyboard is very nice. Coming from a K63 it's upgrades across the board. Good sound, nice feel and the wireless functions work well.
Yeah the title summarizes it perfectly. I love everything about the monsgeek m1w3, but hate the fact that there are no german keycaps for it.
