MonsGeek M5W DIY Kit

M5W is a full-sized south-facing aluminum keyboard with 108 keys, a 100% barebone kit with numerous function buttons and a numeric area. This design allows for convenient typing, catering to gamers, office workers, programmers, and typists in different situations.

With its multi-mode connectivity options including 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C wired connection, you are no longer limited in how you can connect. Moreover, it supports storing up to 3 Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

2.4Ghz Wireless

M5W is equipped with a receiver that allows users to utilize the 2.4GHz wireless mode, providing low latency suitable for gaming and typing purposes.

BT 5.0

M5W makes it easy to connect up to 3 devices with a simple Fn+E/R/T combination, enabling seamless switching between tablets, computers, and phones.

USB-C Wired Mode

M5W offers a choice for users who prefer a USB-C wired keyboard, ensuring consistent and rapid response times for FPS gaming and minimal input lag.

Built-in 6000mAh Battery

With a high-capacity battery of around 6000mAh, users can enjoy prolonged periods of uninterrupted typing, gaming, or productivity without the need for constant recharging.

South-facing PCB

The south-facing PCB of the M5W avoids causing interference with Cherry profile keycaps, offering more compatibility and flexibility.

RGB Backlit

M5W offers approximately 18 preset backlight modes, which allow users to adjust the brightness and flowing speed levels. Moreover, it supports a wide range of RGB effects, with over 16.8 million colors available. Users can also install an upcoming JSON file to access even more lighting effects and configurations.

New Silver Accent

While M5W silver comes with golden accent, MonsGeek has picked the new silver accent on other models. MonsGeek will start to offer standalone accents for sale to better personalize each unit based on user preference.

N-Key Rollover

The N-Key Rollover technology allows all keys to work simultaneously and ensures every keystroke is recorded and prevents ghosting.

The key/lighting effects customization can be programmed by MonsGeek driver in all three modes.In all three modes, the lighting effects can also achieve audio visualizer effects with MonsGeek driver.

MonsGeek M5W has undergone an upgrade, transitioning to Poron case foam with superior elasticity.

A VHB insulation layer has been added to the bottom case in order to prevent any short-circuit issues. It’s rare for these issues to occur but we want to add extra protection.
