MonsGeek M7 VIA DIY Kit

M7 VIA barebone features a 68-key layout, including arrow keys, striking a perfect balance between functionality and portability. Its compact design ensures high portability and minimizes desk space, catering to users who value a clutter-free workspace or need a compact keyboard for on-the-go convenience.

Plate-mounted & Screw-in Stabilizers

The M7 barebones kit is equipped with stabilizers that are mounted on the plate, effectively reducing keycap wobbling. Additionally, it also includes extra stabilizers that can be mounted on the PCB or screwed in, providing options for users with different preferences.

Stabilizers

PCB Mount/Screw-in stabilizers tend to vibrate less. M7 uses Akko transparent white stabilizers (un-assembled) with nylon housing in case users want to lubricate.

South-facing PCB

The south-facing PCB of the M7 avoids causing interference with Cherry profile keycaps during customization, offering more compatibility and flexibility.

Golden Accent

Adding a touch of class and elegance, we opted to add a beautiful golden accent so that no matter which way you look at it, you’ll fall in love over and over again.

Customizable RGB

M7 Aluminum barebone can help you type in the dark with decent backlit. It has over 20 preset backlighting modes.

You can easily create and tailor your own lighting effects with the MonsGeek Cloud Driver, which offers over 16 million unique colors per key, as well as adjustable brightness and animation speed level.

N-Key Rollover

The N-Key Rollover technology allows all keys to work simultaneously and ensures every keystroke is recorded and prevents ghosting.

PORON Plate Foam

M7 pre-built keyboard is equipped with PORON plate foam, effectively reducing the noise generated by key switches, ensuring a purer and more comfortable tactile sound experience for the keyboard.

Polycarbonate Plate

M7 utilizes a transparent PC plate to offer flexibility surpassing that of metal, while also reducing low-frequency resonance.

VIA

MonsGeek M7 supports VIA for cross-platform (Linux/Mac/Windows) advanced keyboard configuration.

QMK is scheduled to undergo certification in June. For users who would like to implement it before the official pull request, the source code will be available for download in the near future.

This feature is exclusively for international version of M7.

Need More Foam?

Monsgeek has developed its own budget custom material that performs equally as well as poron. Meanwhile, MonsGeek M7 comes with an additional sponage case foam to reduce case ping.

*Disclaimer: Using thicker foam may reduce flex, whether to include it or not is down to your personal preference.
